Trained in the classical and jazz traditions from childhood through university, Jackson found his true love in the realm of digital audio. Now, he blends the best of his roots and the latest breakthroughs in audio technology and experimental techniques to sculpt original and groundbreaking tracks for listening, media and live performance.
In the mold of his heroes, he believes the greatest artistic innovations come from community and the raw power of breaking established rules.
Jackson has performed live at some of the most prestigious venues in the United States, including Carnegie Hall and Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in New York City, and has received multiple awards including the Thad Jones Memorial Scholarship for musical excellence.
His portfolio spans across many mediums, including music for live performance, VR experiences, audio-visual art installations, and experimental music. Through it all, Jackson is always trying to surprise himself and employ every tool at his disposal to create sounds and textures once thought impossible.
